What moves between Apilo and PixelFiddler

We send back
Title, description (when you have one in PixelFiddler) and new photos. Apilo does not allow deleting photos through its API, so we add the new photos to the gallery – the existing ones stay and the main photo does not change.

Old photos and the main photo are changed by hand in Apilo.
New products
A new product arrives in Apilo active, priced at 1 PLN, with 0% VAT, quantity 1 and a PF-… SKU. Set the real price, VAT rate and stock in Apilo before selling.
How to connect Apilo to PixelFiddler

Open the API keys
In Apilo go to Administracja → Klucze API Apilo and click Nowa aplikacja REST API.
- Step 2
Create the application
Enter an application name (e.g. PixelFiddler) and save.
- Step 3
Copy the application details
Apilo shows the API address (endpoint), Client ID, Client Secret and the authorization code (Kod autoryzacji). The code is valid for about an hour – connect within that time.
- Step 4
Paste the details in PixelFiddler
In PixelFiddler open Integrations → Apilo → Connect. Enter the domain from the API address (e.g. your-company.apilo.com), Client ID, Client Secret, and paste the authorization code into the authorization token field.

Switch marking on, and AI photos leave us already labelled
The EU AI Act's Article 50 transparency rules have applied since 2 August 2026. In short: if a photo looks real but was generated or significantly altered by AI, the buyer should be told. On one photo that is trivial. Across a catalogue of several hundred, a question comes up: who remembers which ones came out of AI?
The automation remembers.
It made them.
AIThe badge sits in the corner of the photo, at a size and position you set once. What counts as AI content follows from the kind of operation. Judging whether a given listing needs a disclosure is still your call.
The mark stays in the file
You switch marking on once in your space settings. From then on we burn the badge into the photo on download and when sending to channels that have no field of their own for this – so it stays in the file wherever it goes: into Apilo or onto any other channel. Where a channel does expose a field for an AI declaration, we fill it in on the integrations that support it.
What we don't mark
We don't treat background removal or upscaling as content creation, so those photos are never marked. We mark what AI actually drew: generated photos, UGC, ghost mannequin. That's our rule, not a reading of the law – if you're replacing a background with a generated one, treat it as generation.

The code is valid for about an hour. If it has expired, create a new REST API application in Apilo (Administracja → Klucze API Apilo) and connect with its details.
No. For products you already have in Apilo, price, VAT, stock, status and SKU stay as they are. We send title, description and photos.
Apilo does not allow deleting or replacing photos through its API. We add the new photos from PixelFiddler to the gallery and the main photo stays the same. Remove old photos and change the main one by hand in Apilo.
