Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Grouping runs entirely in your browser. Photos only leave your device if you choose to create products in Pixel Fiddler.
How does the grouping work?
We look at subfolders first, then SKU-like file names (e.g. ABC-1042_1.jpg), then gaps in the capture time stored in the photo (EXIF), and finally how similar the photos look. You can fix any group by dragging photos.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and HEIC/HEIF. HEIC photos are grouped by name and time if your browser cannot preview them.
Is there a limit?
There is no limit on the number of photos. ZIP download works up to 2 GB per selection; above that you can download a CSV mapping of files to products.
Can I create products from the groups?
Yes. Click "Create products", sign up for free, and continue in Pixel Fiddler — your groups come with you.
