Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Every check runs in your browser. Your photos never leave your device.
What does the checker verify?
File format, resolution on the longer side, file size, how white the background is along the edges and, for Amazon, how much of the frame the product fills. Switching marketplace re-checks the same photos instantly.
Does it cover Allegro's grey background exception?
No. For the main photo Allegro asks for a white background, but in some fashion, kids and sport categories a light grey background is allowed. We do not model that exception, so a light grey background may be flagged even though your category accepts it. Check your category's rules on Allegro.
What should I check manually?
Marketplaces also reject text, logos, watermarks and borders on the main photo, and we cannot detect those reliably. Check text, logos and watermarks manually before you upload.
Which photo is treated as the main one?
The first photo you add. Main-photo-only rules, such as the white background, apply to it alone. You can set any other photo as the main one.
Where do the rules come from?
From the marketplaces' own seller help pages: Allegro, Amazon, Kaufland and eBay picture requirements. Marketplaces change them from time to time, so treat the result as a pre-check, not a guarantee.
