Free · No registration needed

Drop an image and we look for traces AI tools leave in its metadata: IPTC and XMP source type, C2PA Content Credentials, generator names and prompts stored in PNG files. Everything runs in your browser, without uploading anything.

  • IPTC, XMP, EXIF, PNG text and C2PA signals
  • Shows the evidence behind each verdict

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Metadata is read in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Does this prove an image is AI-generated?
Only in one direction. Finding AI traces is a strong sign. Finding none proves nothing, because marketplaces, social media and screenshots routinely strip metadata.
If no metadata is found, is the image not AI?
Not necessarily. Missing metadata does not prove an image is not AI. It may have been removed, or the tool that made it never wrote any.
What are Content Credentials (C2PA)?
A signed manifest that records how a file was made. We only report that it is present and do not verify the signature. Some cameras sign ordinary photos too, so it is information, not a verdict.
What do you look for?
The IPTC and XMP digital source type, generator names in the Software, creator tool and similar fields (for example Firefly, Midjourney or Stable Diffusion), C2PA manifests and prompt or workflow text inside PNG files.
What should I do with images that have AI traces?
Label them. The AI label tool adds a badge to your photos in a few clicks.
