AI-powered image tools
Let AI handle the tedious image work. PixelFiddler includes a suite of AI-powered tools designed to save you hours of manual editing — so you can focus on selling, not retouching.
Whether you need clean white backgrounds for your Amazon listings, want to remove a distracting shadow, or need fresh visuals for a seasonal campaign, AI features in PixelFiddler let you get it done in seconds instead of hours.
What you can do with AI
Section titled “What you can do with AI”Background removal
Section titled “Background removal”Remove the background from any product photo with one click. You get a clean, professional result ready for your marketplace listings.
- White background — perfect for Amazon, eBay, and other marketplaces that require a pure white backdrop
- Transparent background — ideal when you want to composite your product onto a lifestyle scene or branded template

No need to outline your product by hand or hire a freelancer. The AI detects your product automatically and separates it from the background cleanly, even around tricky edges like hair, fabric, or translucent materials.
AI image editing
Section titled “AI image editing”Describe the change you want in plain English, and AI applies it for you. No sliders, no layers, no guesswork.
Here are some examples of what you can ask:
- “Make the background brighter”
- “Remove the shadow under the product”
- “Change the background color to light blue”
- “Make the lighting warmer”

This is especially useful when you need quick fixes across many product photos without opening a full image editor.
Image generation
Section titled “Image generation”Generate images from text descriptions. This is great for creating backgrounds, lifestyle scenes, or decorative elements to use inside your templates.
For example, you could generate a “cozy living room scene with soft natural lighting” and place your product in the foreground using a template — no photographer needed.

Auto-tagging
Section titled “Auto-tagging”Let AI analyze your images and add searchable tags automatically. Instead of manually typing “red dress, summer, cotton, sleeveless” for every photo, auto-tagging does it for you.
- Tags are added to your images in the Media Library, making them easy to search and filter
- Especially valuable when you manage hundreds or thousands of product images
- Saves significant time during catalog onboarding or seasonal refreshes

Where AI features appear
Section titled “Where AI features appear”You can access AI tools in three places across PixelFiddler:
| Location | What you can do | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Media Library | Run AI on a single image or select multiple images for batch processing | Quick one-off edits or bulk cleanup |
| Workflows | Add AI steps that run automatically on every new upload | Hands-free processing at scale |
| Templates | Use AI image layers to generate or transform visuals as part of a composition | Dynamic content creation |
Understanding tokens and pricing
Section titled “Understanding tokens and pricing”AI operations use tokens from your plan. Every time you remove a background, edit an image with AI, generate a visual, or auto-tag a photo, a certain number of tokens are deducted.
Your current token balance and usage are visible in your Account Settings dashboard.
Model tiers: BASIC vs QUALITY
Section titled “Model tiers: BASIC vs QUALITY”When running an AI operation, you can choose between two model tiers:
| BASIC | QUALITY | |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Faster results | Slower, more processing time |
| Token cost | Lower cost per operation | Higher cost per operation |
| Best for | High-volume batch jobs, quick drafts, previews | Hero images, key product shots, final assets |
| Result quality | Good for most use cases | Best possible output |
Getting the best results
Section titled “Getting the best results”Here are a few practical tips to make the most of AI features in PixelFiddler:
- Use good source photos — AI works best with well-lit, high-resolution images. A blurry or underexposed original will limit what AI can do.
- Be specific with prompts — When using AI editing, “make the background slightly warmer” gives better results than “fix the background.”
- Combine AI with templates — Remove the background from a product photo, generate a lifestyle scene, and bring them together in a template for a polished final image.
- Use batch processing for consistency — When you have a catalog of similar products, batch-process them with the same AI operation so they all look uniform.
