Upload your first product photo

Welcome to PixelFiddler! This guide takes you from zero to your first uploaded product photo in about two minutes. No technical setup required — just your browser and an image file.

What you will need

• A PixelFiddler account — sign up here if you have not created one yet
• A product photo on your computer (JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, or GIF, up to 10 MB)

Step 1: Log into your dashboard

Head to pixel-fiddler.com/dashboard and sign in with your account. Once you are in, you will land on your space dashboard. This is your home base for everything in PixelFiddler.

Step 2: Open the Media Library

In the left sidebar, click Media Management. Every new account comes with a hosted storage already set up, so you can start uploading right away — no configuration needed.

Step 3: Upload your first image

Time to upload your first product photo. You have two options:

• Click the Upload button in the top area of the library
• Or simply drag and drop a file from your computer straight into the library

Once you pick a file, a small progress widget will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen. It shows the upload status so you always know what is happening.

Wait a moment, and you will see a thumbnail of your image appear in the library. Your photo is now stored in PixelFiddler.

Note

Uploads are limited to 10 MB per file. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and GIF. If your photo is larger than 10 MB, try compressing it or reducing its dimensions before uploading.

Step 4: Preview your image

Click on the uploaded image thumbnail. A preview panel will slide open on the right side, showing you all the details about your file:

• File name — The original name of your uploaded file
• File size — How large the file is (in KB or MB)
• Format — The image format (JPEG, PNG, etc.)
• Dimensions — Width and height in pixels

Most importantly, you will see the image URL in the panel. This is the live URL that PixelFiddler uses to serve your image. It looks something like:

https://media.pixel-fiddler.com/product-photos/media/your-photo.jpg

Step 5: See it live

Copy that image URL and paste it into a new browser tab. Hit enter.

Your product photo loads right there in the browser. You can use it in your online store, on a marketplace listing, or in a social media post.

Tip

Bookmark or save this URL. You can paste it directly into your e-commerce platform wherever it asks for an image URL.

You did it

That is your first product photo uploaded to PixelFiddler. From here, you can upload your entire product catalog the same way — drag, drop, and you are done.
